Architect – M. Arch.

Davide is an architect, founder, and executive at the Turin based studio Element , practising in Italy since 2003. Apart from the practice, Davide is a contract professor at Politecnico di Torino, where he’s been holding a course on Architectural Technology since 2008 . Throughout both practical and didactic activity, Davide’s main interest is sustainable architecture, specifically in the vein of bio-architecture and timber constructions. He is an author of several well known books on the subject, such as ‘Legno. Manuale per progettare in Italia’ (UTET, 2013).

Collaboration between Davide and Vlad O. Mazur started many years ago at Politecnico di Torino, where the two first met. One professor, another student. Since then, lots of co-designs were undertaken, some of which are present on this website. It is an honour and pleasure of DeMazur to now have Davide as the associate partner, teacher, and friend.
